Frequently Asked Questions

It’s natural to have questions before beginning.
I’ve gathered a few here to help guide you as you explore this work.

1. What is NIASZIIH Healing?

NIASZIIH Healing (pronounced Nigh‑uh‑zee‑eye) is a nature-based healing modality that sees healing as something that happens in relationship—with your body, the land, your inner world, and the subtle energy that connects all things. This practice invites presence, deep listening, and a shift in perspective through the reflections offered by the natural world.

2. Who is this healing for?

This work supports individuals navigating a wide range of experiences—physically, emotionally, and spiritually. It can be especially helpful for those living with chronic illness, autoimmune conditions, cancer, heart disease, or recovering from trauma and stress. It’s also supportive for anyone feeling disconnected from themselves, seeking clarity, or looking to deepen their relationship with the earth and their own inner wisdom.

3. What can I expect during a session?

All sessions begin with a short conversation about what you’d like to focus on.

  • One-on-one sessions (online) are 60 minutes total—conversation, guided healing, and space to ground.

  • Wandering healings are in-person only: we walk the land, settle where it feels right, then lie down for the healing work. No pressure, just presence.

  • I’ll always share what arises for me—reflections, images, sensations, or insights. Some may resonate, some may not. Silence may also be part of the process. Each session unfolds in its own way, and is unique to each client.

4. How do I know if this is right for me?

If you’re drawn to nature, curious about energy, or longing for a gentler way of reconnecting with yourself—this may be a fit. The work is intuitive and collaborative, honoring your pace and needs. A session can simply be a gentle way to explore if it resonates for you.

6. How do I prepare for a session?

There’s nothing special you need to do—just come as you are. If we’re meeting online, try to find a quiet, comfortable space where you won’t be interrupted. You may want to have water nearby, a blanket, or anything that helps you feel grounded. Give yourself a little time before and after, if possible, to arrive and integrate.
